Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our dedicated representative, identifiable by the Ramasside Tours sign, will be there to warmly welcome you. Subsequently, you will be smoothly transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle for a comfortable overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Royal Mummies Golden Parade & Pyramids of Giza Tour

Following a delightful breakfast, embark on a cultural journey by visiting the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, a unique institution offering a comprehensive overview of Egypt’s historical periods. Explore its vast collection of over 50,000 artefacts, with a special focus on the Mummies Halls featuring the Royal Mummies.

Witness the awe-inspiring Pharaoh’s Golden Parade, a historical event that relocated 22 Royal Mummies to their new home in the National Museum of Civilization. Among them are illustrious figures like King Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, King Thutmos the third, and Queen Ahmos Nefertary.

Continue your exploration by visiting the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, marveling at the colossal structures. Get up close to the Sphinx, a monumental funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren. Optionally, end your day with the enchanting Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo – Nile Cruise Luxor– Valley of Kings and Valley of Queens

After a sumptuous breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, explore the West Bank, starting with the Valley of Kings & Queens, where the mummies from the Golden Parade were discovered. Visit the renowned tomb of King Tutankhamun and gain insights into his lesser-known facts.

Continue to the Valley of the Queens, a necropolis for royal family members, and seize the opportunity to visit the vibrant tomb of Queen Nefertari (extra ticket). Explore the architectural marvel of the Temple of Deir El Bahari dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, a prominent female pharaoh.

On the return journey, stop at the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut before transferring to the Nile Cruise for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 4: Nile Cruise – Mummification Tour

Begin your day with breakfast on board, followed by a visit to the Mummification Museum, offering insights into ancient Egyptian mummification techniques and displaying related artefacts and mummies, including those of animals. Optionally, explore Karnak & Luxor temples or take a thrilling hot air balloon ride (weather-dependent). Overnight in the cruise.

Day 5: Nile Cruise – Crocodile Museum

Enjoy breakfast on board and visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo and explore the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Dive into the intriguing world of ancient Egyptian mummified crocodiles with a visit to the Crocodile Museum in Kom Ombo. Witness the unique display of mummified crocodiles, coffins, statues, and more. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 6: Nile Cruise – Philae Temple in Aswan

After breakfast on board, sail to Aswan to visit the Temple of Philae, known for its depiction of Egyptian mythology and the resurrection of Osiris. Lunch will be served on board, and the evening will be spent in Aswan.

Day 7: Aswan – Cairo

Begin your day with breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation. Optionally, embark on a fascinating trip to Abu Simbel to explore the colossal temples built by Ramses II. Return to Aswan, transfer to the airport, and catch a flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure
